This is the last scheduled Metric Series of the year. Hopefully the relatively late start time will increase our odds for warmer ride temp. This ride begins and ends at Canyon View High School in Cedar City. From there the route follows Hwy 130 north to the Parowan Gap turnoff. Parowan Gap is dotted with ancient petroglyphs, some of which are thought to be some 1,000 years old, depicting humans, wildlife, and intricate patterns. Recommend bringing a bike lock, walking shoes and a camera. The ancient artwork is a short hike from the road. We will continue east past Little Salt Lake to townships of Paragonah and Parowan before turning back towards the Gap and south to Cedar City.
