NEW START LOCATION - Due to Coalville community event, we are moving the start/finish to the Wanship Rail Trail parking lot. Super and Metric head north through Coalville and past Echo Dam. Turn right up Echo Canyon to the summit (regroup opportunity). After summiting, we descend and visit Henefer City Park for water. From Henefer we roll south to Coalville. Super riders head up Chalk Creek. At 71.1 miles, make a turn where the creek flows under the road, make a u-turn and return to Coalville and back to Wanship via Hobson Ln and West Hoytsville Road. The only public accessible water on Chalk Creek is the spigot at the Upton LDS Church pavillion. The sign says the water is from an "untested source". Locals have been drinking this spring water for 180 years and see no need to test it.
