Passes by or through many of the major parks on the east side of SLC, starting at Big Cottonwood Park, and includes Liberty Park, the Whale, Sugarhouse Park, Tanner Park, Knudsen's Corner and Holladay Park. A good variety of terrain, including some good but short climbs. A couple of hazards of note: Please come to a COMPLETE STOP where Fardown Lane meets Highland Drive, and do not turn right until the right lane is completely clear. The route follows Highland Drive for about a mile, so please ride singe-file as far right as safely possible. Also, due to the dappled lighting on Cottonwood Lane, it is hard to see all the potholes and divots, so please ride cautiously and keep your eyes open for hazards!
