Start at the Malad City Courthouse and Police Station. Climb to Garden Creek Gap. Descend to Arimo stopping at Eagle Point Convince Store before the final push to Lava. Riders can elect this shorter 47.6 mile course with less vertical feet: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/48632746 Both courses will have a designated sweep rider. All riders must report their arrival in Lava to the ride leader or assistant ride leader. Everyone is welcome to our post-ride dinner around 5:30pm and a mineral pool soak either before or after dinner. Download the RWGPS map for navigation as the routes will not be marked. Individial lodging arrangements should be made well in advance. Many people option for the Lava Hot Springs Inn and Spa out of convenience; e.g. simple rooms, spa access, and early Sunday morning breakfast. You can contact them directly for availability, book through Booking.com, or make your own arrangements elsewhere. As of 5/5/26 there were still 11 basic rooms available at the Lava Hot Springs Inn & Spa.
