Description
Generally a rural ride with lots of farms and wide-open spaces. Usually includes a cold wind coming out of Spanish Fork Canyon during the first part of the ride so bring layers. Expect a busy 3-mile stretch with fast moving traffic with trucks on US-6 between Genola and Goshen. Regroup at Ryder’s Gas Station on the west side of Goshen at about the 23.5 mile mark. Climb through Goshen Canyon and ride around Mona Lake. Beautiful views of Mt. Nebo and the Wasatch Range. David Goldenberg has volunteered to be an assistant ride leader. One or both of use will ride at a slower pace. Please review the Ride with GPS map and be familiar with the route.
Getting there: I-15 SB. Take Exit 257A and drive south on Main St. Just past the Fairgrounds, turn right onto Volunteer Drive and get into the left lane. In about a half-mile that lane turns left. Drive past the baseball fields and park near the restrooms and pickleball courts. See map.
