This D pace, out-and-back ride is flat as a pancake. We're starting early to avoid the heat. We often see wildlife along the way -- heron, ducks, pelicans, red wing blackbirds, and sometimes a fox. We ride to the Native tribes memorial where we turn around and return. We can stop for coffee and conversation when we're almost back.
