After a good night's rest and carb load breakfast the road and gravel groups will depart together from the Lava Hot Springs Downtown Park at 10AM. The return routes split a few miles east of Lava Hot Springs. The Gravel route will have a bit more climbing up and over Baldy Mt than the paved route. Your reward is you'll avoid Treasureton Pass and the grind into Preston. See Gravel map below. Caution: There are no public access potable water sources on this route. All riders should carry at least 3 water bottles or a hydration pak. In the pasr we've have a volunteer set up a roadside water stop north of the Bear River crossing (mile 34 for roadies and mile 32.5 for gravel grinders).
