Hey BCCers, This recon ride is FBO a few 1/2 Iron event participants. The BCC Metric starts from Sports Village condo complex at 3pm with an alternate sign-in and start from the Sand Hollow west boat ramp at 4pm. Signup sheet will be available at Sports Village club house at 2:40 and at Sand Hollow boat ramp at 3:50. Snow Canyon State Park entry fee is $5 for 3 riders (if they're collecting). Utah State Park passes ought to work too. Fully charged tail and head lights are highly recommended as we'll be finishing on some highly trafficked surface streets in low light. Per the 1/2 Ironman event guide: The spectacularly scenic bike course takes you from the City of Hurricane through rolling hills and on the signature climb into Snow Canyon State Park with a fast descent back into downtown St. George. Athletes will ride on freshly paved roads, surrounded by amazing views of the beautiful mountains that surround St. George and Washington County.
