This ride follows the route of the old Three Kings cycling event that the City of North Salt Lake used to sponsor in the aughts. It is quick but involves three brutally steep climbs. You are gonna want all the gears! Also, you'll want to be warmed up before the ride starts, cuz the route gets right to climbing. At the actual event they would put down timing mats at the beginning and end of each "king" and your placing was based only on your accumulated climbing time. That was smart. If you come to this ride, don't use it to show off your descending.... it's rude. Just crush the uphills, OK? The first and third kings are straightforward to follow. The second has some turns; it would be a really really good idea to have the route on your phone.
