Download new course updated on 5 Oct 2022. This scenic backway provides great views over the Great Salt Lake. The climb from Bountiful "B" up FR177/Ward Canyon and FR008/Skyline Dr is steep with lots of rough wash-board. Take your time.

At 16.1 Miles riders can opt to climb FR009 to the Francis Peak Rader Station or skip the 2340ft spur to Francis Peak and drop directly down Farmington Canyon Road. Recent report is that this descent is rough due to water erosion. From the mouth of Farmington Canyon we jump on Woodland Dr and Little Valley Rd to connect with Bonneville Shoreline Trail. The final 9 miles is relatively flat. Plan to pack 3 bottles or a 100+ oz hydration pak. Also expect to share the road with some vehicles since its opened to cars in summer and fall.
