Description
This is a low-stress social ride in the Salt Lake Valley that is designed to provide just enough mileage to rationalize stopping at Streusel** for some superyummy danishes at the end. It only has two small climbs (like overpasses, really short) and will expose new-ish riders to all sorts of interesting things, like where to get good vegan Mexican food, and the most painless way to get from one side of I-15 to the other in Murray, and another place, right next to the first one, that also has great vegan Mexican food, and how to access the Parley's Trail to get a commanding view of railroad cars. NOTE bring money for a danish! Seriously! NOTE that as a Social Series ride this is technically open-paced. But I will be riding at a casual pace, either the "C-D" 13mph pace or slower to match the back of the pack. Basically I will be "sweeper" the whole route, so don't be intimidated about getting lost.
** [I know they changed their name to "Forty Three Bakery" but I hate that name so I'm sticking with Streusel]
