| This 94 mile offering is an alternative to Tim Shea's metric distance ride. Both rides start at 9 am from the Grantville City Park. All riders head east from Grantsville through Stansbury Park and turn south on side roads to Tooele. From Tooele continue south on Hwy 36 through Stockton to Rush Valley. At 37.5 miles the metric turns right on S. Hwy 199 then north on Mormon Trail Road back to Grantsville. The 94 mile route continues south to the Silver Sage store in Vernon before returning to S. Hwy 199 and Mormon Trail Rd. Both distances end with a sweet 6 mile descent back to Grantsville. The routes will not be marked, but cue sheets will be available. Please review the Ride With GPS map and be familiar with the route. In particular, be mindful of the streets and turns through Stansbury Park to Tooele. | |
