*******Route and Start Time Change****** Hey BCC gang! This is Part 1 of a Double Century weekend bike trip to Lava Hot Springs. This year's edition is in honor of Jim Haley who initiated this end of season tradition several years ago. With enough interest, we'll offer a Metric option. Subject to weather, the Saturday Century route rolls from Mendon now to Lava via Cache Valley. The Metric option would start from Preston Jr HS and join the Century route in Dayton, ID. We will have an overnight bag drop option at the start. You are responsible for your own lodging in Lava and transport back if you choose not to ride back on Sunday. Saturday dinner at the Thai restaurant at 6pm is optional. OctoberCycleFest Part 2 will resume on Sunday and will also have Century and Metric options. This is an awesome family fall wkd get away opportunity. Lava will be in post season wind down so we'll have the place largely to ourselves. If you can't find a hotel room text me. I may have an extra room at the Lava Hot Springs Inn & Spa. There's potential for an out-n-back option Saturday for Super Series credit with Desmond's approval.
