This is a short, relatively flat, tour of Morgan Valley starting/ending at Riverside Park. Make it shorter and flatter by skipping Deep Creek Rd. Route follows the Old Hwy to Stoddard Lane which takes us over I-15 to North Morgan Valley Drive. The jaunt up Deep Creek Rd is a quiet 1.7 mi easy climb (best part of the route IMO). Coming off Deep Creek Rd turn right (follow the white markers) to the Porterville/Hwy 66 intersection where we will each STOP before turning left (again following the white markings) and head back to Morgan Riverside Park for photos, ice-cold drinks and salty chips n caso. Should be perfect riding conditions and not too hot, so bring a cycling friend or two.
