Description

Enjoy the middle section of the Union Pacific Rail Trail from Wanship to Promontory. This is a cinder and dirt double track. This two hour recreational Mountain Bike ride is for riders of all abilities starting at 4:00. This time, we’ll start with the climb, so when we turnaround we’ll have a fun downhill. Afterwards, please join us for dinner at Loco Lizard Cantina.

4: The rollers and grades that occur in the valleys. Good examples are short but fairly steep hills such as Winchester Hill at 1300 W. and Temple Hill on 4000 W. Rides typically have 1000 feet or less in total vertical gain. Most of our rides fall into this category.

WANSHIP RAIL TRAIL PARKING, GPS: 40.813175, -111.403685, from Salt Lake take I -80 East, take Wanship exit 155, turn left and drive all the way through town, turn left into Rail Trail parking. Restroom available.
