Jordan River Ramble (No More Rapids Edition!)

Calendar   Rides
Date Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 2:00pm

A ride with something for everyone! Suitable for families, beginners, or experienced riders who just want to take it easy and escape the traffic. This is on the Jordan River Trail, a multi-use pathway, so don't expect to set speed records, but the scenery is nice and it's mostly flat (one hill on the 23 mile ride). We'll ride south, with the 23 mile turnaround at 14600 S. Turnarounds at parks on the shorter distances, so the kids can play. Dress for the weather, we'll roll if the trail is dry. A word of warning: BRING ONLY WHAT YOU NEED FOR THE RIDE AND DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING IN YOUR CAR! My car was broken into last year and yours will be too.

Distance 23
Elevation Gain 398
Pace O Open-paced ride

4-5: Flat to mild hills

Meeting Location

JRT trailhead at 7800 S 1070 W (just east of Gardner Village, on the south side of 7800 S). Look for the blue Subaru Impreza. If that lot is full, park at the Trax station across from Gardner Village and ride to the start via the trail connector at the SE corner of the lot.
