This ride will test your early season fitness. It can be made much easier by riding out to the start of the loop road at 10.1 miles turning around and riding back the same way you came for 21 miles and not do the two major climbs. First climb is 3 mi. with average grade of 6.2% and a max. of 11.6%. Second climb is 1 mi. with average grade of 7.1% and a max. of 15%. NOTE: After the turn at 10.1 miles the climb starts and the road is narrow and "one way", you should not begin this climb unless you are committed to making it all the way.
|Pace||O Open-paced ride|
2: Most of the canyons and passes in Utah. Millcreek Canyon, Emigration Canyon, and City Creek Canyon and good examples.
