Enjoy a WILD WEST mountain bike ride on a wide dirt road from the BLM trailhead to the north end of Stansbury Island where you will find kiosks, and a vault restroom. You will also find a trail across the road the leads you to public access to the north shore of the Great Salt Lake.

From SLC take I-80 West, take EXIT 84 and do not drive to Grantsville. Drive on a gravel road crossing two rail road tracks, drive straight onto Island for 8 miles, you'll pass a gravel pit on the right, keep driving and turn right and drive up a road to a boulder parking loop. Look for the STANSBURY INTERPRETIVE TRAIL sign.
